The Planets: Beyond Earth - Behind the Scenes

Composer David Önaç has been working incredibly hard on our exciting new version of Holst’s ‘The Planets’ suite, complete with new parts for choir. David has drawn together ideas for lyrics and melodies generated by young people in composition workshops earlier this year, skilfully overlaying these onto Holst's original orchestral parts. 

Choirs have already started rehearsing in preparation for the world premiere of this new version of ‘The Planets’, accompanied by Wyatt Sinfonia’s professional musicians and in partnership with Hackney and Tower Hamlets Music Services at EartH Theatre in November.
